I wonder what Chrysler is testing now…

These were caught testing in California.
Looks like regular models of the current Dodge Journey.
So they could be testing a new engine? Maybe the smaller 3.0 Liter V6 they already are using overseas?
Or a diesel?

  1. I am bit tired looking at photos in articles of any car USA with the author claiming or wondering about some type of test going on. What's the point?

  4. Wow, all the negativity. Why are foreign people so ornery?

    It looks like it's sitting kind of low. Lots of times they fit the body of an existing car over the architecture of a new one so they can drive it around and test. I would guess it's the early testing of the Journey's eventual replacement.

  6. Wouldn't the Journey's replacement be based on the new Cherokee? Or would it be a larger vehicle overall? I'm guessing the next one will likely be badged as a Chrysler.
