Lexus LF-LC Concept approved for production.

And apparently, it will be very close to the concept (pictured above). About 90% close.

I think this is great news. The LF-LC is quite stunning. This would make a great model for Lexus to go against the 6 series or S Class coupe. ( I guess that’s was the “old” SC was anyway.)

We should see the real thing by 2016.

  1. When you say the "old" SC I can only imagine you mean the first-generation model.. because the second-gen certainly went off on a completely useless and uncompetitive tangent. This does seem to have a lot of the spirit of Lexus' original luxury coupe.

  2. I don't know why exactly but the front end of this car actually looks pretty good in these shots (although the C-post does not).

  3. Except for the front grille that is a little to big, this is the best looking car to come out of Lexus/Toyota in a long time.

  5. Looks like a Bond villian car, I saw a red version of this a few years ago at NAIAS and am glad this one got the green light.

  7. I think those individuals who will find this design appealing (young male pc gamers)probably won't be able to afford one.

  8. Attention GM – Buick should be a direct competitor of Lexus, Acura and Infinit, but at a slightly lower price point here in the US. GET A DESIGN LANGUAGE and DEFINE THE DAMN BRAND!!!
