2017 Hyundai Elantra Sport
Last Updated:
This was just posted on my Facebook page by a “FB Friend” and reader.
If it is the “sport” AKA Euro Version of the Elantra, it looks like it has a new interior as well.
(Just like the previous one did)
Compact hatchbacks are more and more popular in the US these days.
So this should do quite well agains other newcomers like thrall new Cruze Hatchback and Civic Hatchback.
What do you think?
The Civic is the new refinement benchmark competing head on with mid size sedans. The Elantra looks better in my eyes, thanks to the Koreans employing better designers. The Sport version should attract quite a few "have nots", who wish to act fast out there, until the Civic SI and beyond come out. The consumer is the clear winner of all these attempts to "greatness."

That's NOT the Elantra Sport in the picture. That is the Elantra N Wagon (i30 N version). It comes with 300+hp 2.0L Turbo GDI.
The Elantra Sport (w/ 200 hp 1.6L TGDI) which was already out in Korea about a month ago.
