2018 BMW 5 series Touring.

Not ugly.
But really, this is strictly for BMW fans.
I saw the new 5 series sedan in the streets and it just looks totally invisible.
So does this wagon. Again, it’s not ugly. At all.
But there is really no excuse for zero style.
Even the new Mercedes E-Class wagon is trying a bit harder.
Unless you must have a BMW, in a world where the new Volvo V90 exists, there is really no reason for this.

  1. I don't really understand why every fawns over BMWs – guess it's just me. I will say that BMW does NOT know how to design an attractive wagon or SUV.

  2. As a BMW owner, I agree totally, Vince. That's a pretty little wagon for an awful lot of money. It serves NO purpose. NONE. At all.

  3. There is no reason for building and selling any wagons. Period, full stop. People want and get "height."

  4. "There is no reason for building and selling any wagons."

From Burgerland's perspective, where everyone is fat, maybe. But wagons are still very popular in Europe.

  5. I think it is a nice classic looking wagon. Nothing wrong with it. Most people who would buy this don't want anything to far out there anyway. Nice grocery getter.

This is a US blog. We are not talking about tiny cars, tiny roads in bankrupt Europe.

  7. Funny how, even being bankrupt, europe still buys enough wagons to make them profitable. But what do i know. I don't have the wisdom that the people who elected a giant, talking cheetos to be their president have.

  8. According to our fellow 'Murican above, it is, Vince. Just goes to show how out of touch most americans are.
