2021 Nissan Kicks

Looks like the little Nissan Kicks might be getting some changes for the 2021 model year.
Although the Kicks has only been in the US for a short while, it actually came out in 2016 in other countries. So it is not too early for some revisions.
The prototype in the top photo seems to have an all new front end. And some kind of aero wheels. Which means it could be a hybrid. Or plug-in version.
Or maybe even an EV? Since for all these years Nissan has only used their EV technology on the Leaf. It would seem about time for them to get more EVs out…
What's going on here is that the Japanese will get their own version of Kicks with more upscale features.
Their version will be built in Japan whereas the one in the US is Mexican made.
Looks like a Mitsubishi version of Nissan Kicks.
I didn't think about it but I have to agree with Rafa, the three bars grille looks very Mitsubishi.
Next Mirage hatch, absolutely not the Kicks
