2022 Ford Ranger: new illustrations…

These illustrations are obviously inspired by the photo leak we saw early last year (bottom) of the next-generation Ford Ranger.
Even though the current generation came out in the US in late 2018, it is basically the same truck that has been on sale around the world since 2011. So yes, it is about time for a new one.
And yes, the next generation will include a Raptor model for the US market (top pic). Probably powered by a 2.7 Liter V6 Turbo.
From what we see here, the overall design will be pretty conservative. The front lights design is pretty interesting, but the rest has that “any truck from anyone” look to it.
I guess with over 90 000 of them sold so far this year (somehow an increase from 2019!) Ford will be playing it safe…
I probably haven't seen 30 Rangers since they came out. 2 years. Don't where the buyers are from, but they sure aren't around me.
