2022 Nissan Rogue Sport: new illustration…

No surprises here. As the next-generation Nissan Rogue Sport will, again, probably look like a smaller Rogue. Which will be fine since the new Rogue looks really good. Inside and out.

Unfortunately, the next Rogue Sport is rumored to use a similar powertrain. Which would mean the return of the 2.0 Liter (with a little bit more power) and a CVT. Since Nissan wants to keep the Rogue Sport pretty cheap in the US, there won’t be any fancy new engine or anything like that…

  1. looks sorta like the new chevy Trailblazer ( which i think looks pretty good in the RS trim. ).
    It would be cool if the rogue sport had a decent uptick in horsepower/torque, but i'm sure nissan will instead focus on interior improvements such as a 59'' tablet screen or faux baby seal leather seats. Maybe the engine will get a hi-flow air filter or the oil dipstick handle will be made from recycled sea urchins. 🙂

  3. How do you know about the lack of a strong motor in the new one, Vince?
    The new Rogue according to Youtube reviews is slow. Like the CX-5, they should add a turbo.
