Just like its cousin, the Kia Telluride, the Hyundai Palisade received a few changes for the 2023 model year. Mainly an all-new front end.
Which is slightly better than the previous pinched chrome look. But let’s face it, it is still a huge grotesque display of cheap-looking shiny plastic. It’s really trying hard to be something, but I don’t know what. A big GMC truck maybe?
Things are cleaner than before inside. But not all that different.
The screen in the Palisade was always integrated better than in the Telluride, to begin with. But now it seems the Kia setup is much cleaner than this.
Too bad they didn’t upgrade the center console too. Which still looks like a sea of silver-painted plastic.
Now that the rest of the dash seems more upscale, that console looks cheaper than ever.
Otherwise, no equivalent to Kia’s new X-Pro model here. And again, the same old big and smooth V6.
