This video shows the all-new 2024 BMW i5 eDrive40 driving around. As well as a preview of the interior showing the various driving modes available.
The eDrive40 is the i5’s basic version, with RWD and a single motor producing 335HP. A more powerful AWD version with 590HP called M60 xDrive is also available. Both models are fitted with a large battery with a usable capacity of 84.3 kWh. The driving range is 295 miles for the eDrive40 with 19-inch wheels, and 256 miles for the M60 xDrive. The BMW i5 can be charged at speeds up to 205kW.
The eDrive40 starts at $67 800 and the xDrive60 at $85 100.
