Smaller wheels. No gold trim. Yes, this one is the cheaper “E” version of the all-new Mini Countryman EV.
It is also the US model that will go on sale in about a year. This cheaper E model is FWD with a 287-mile battery (European test cycle). The SE version we saw just a few short weeks ago was a top-of-the-line model with all options included and 20-inch wheels. This one does look a lot cheaper, although it will still probably be quite expensive. (The current ICE model starts at over $32 000)
A hybrid or ICE version is still rumored to come out later for some markets. And even a diesel for hardcore air pollution fans.
