2025/26 Infiniti EV sedan.

The illustration above (previously posted last month) shows what a production version of the Infiniti Vision Qe concept could look like. The illustration shows a Nissan logo since the q50 has been sold in Japan as the Nissan Skyline.
The concept we saw a few weeks ago was supposed to give us an idea of Infiniti’s first EV. A sedan that will finally replace the old Q50.
The production version of the concept, as well as the new Nissan Maxima EV, will both be built in the US in Nissan’s Mississippi factory in 2025. This will be a huge deal for Infiniti since this is not only their first EV, but their first sedan model since the current Q50 came out in 2016. The Q50 is now one of these sad forgotten models that no one thinks about when shopping for a new car. Starting at around $ 43,000, it isn’t that cheap either. If Infiniti can have the new EV starting at around $ 50,000, it would end up being cheaper than the current Q50 after incentives.
The car above is the 2019 IM concept. Which was supposed to preview the next Maxima EV. It’s almost been 4 years and no real news from Nissan yet about the upcoming sedan, which by now, should almost be ready especially since production is about a year away.
I guess we’ll have to wait a little longer to see what Nissan has been working on. But so far, these concepts all look very nice. And they’re not SUVs. (Although that’s coming too…)
