2025 Mini Aceman.
Last Updated:
It sure looks like the 2022 Mini Aceman concept was actually a very close preview of the 2025 Aceman production model.
Mini has just released some “official spy shots” of the new model. Something many manufacturers do these days, like VW and others. They camouflage their cars and drive them around for a fake spy shot-type photo session. It usually comes just a few weeks before the official announcement. Or a couple of months at the most.
I’m not sure if it’s to mess with spy photographers or not, but it’s just odd.
The final product will look almost exactly like the concept, which is great. The new Aceman will be 160 inches long and 69 inches wide, which is the same size as the current 4-door Mini. However, the Aceman will be about 3 inches taller. It will come with a 54.2 kWh battery, which seems to be the same unit used on the next-generation Mini EV. (a smaller battery is also available on the Mini EV in Europe). That battery with AWD is rated at 250 miles of range in the WLTP test cycle, which could translate into about 200/210 miles EPA, plenty for a car this size. It could also be fine for road trips since the new model should be compatible with the NACS charging network.
We should find out much more very soon.
