2026 Hyundai Palisade.

Here it is, finally! The all-new second-generation Hyundai Palisade.

I do think the new Palisade looks much better than most illustrations we have seen over the past few months. Even if these early photos aren’t the best. And 100 times better than the current generation.

While the exterior is mostly what we expected, the front end does look much nicer than previously thought. The new Palisade‘s biggest surprise is inside. And that interior looks very impressive.

It is almost weird to see such a soft and curvy design inside while the exterior is so angular. But it does seem to work. I really love the fact that for once the screens are very, very well integrated into the dashboard. Nothing sticks out and there is no tablet on top of the dash. Which is a huge improvement over almost every car interior today. And also most of the current Hyundai and Kia interiors. I really hope this is a trend. The Palisade designers finally make an effort and incorporate the screens into the overall design.

I think the interior alone will be a huge selling point for the new Palisade.

The new generation has a longer wheelbase and should be even roomier.

At least in Korea, the front center console can somehow be used as a middle seat. Although I’m not really sure how that actually works. This would allow the new Palisade to carry up to 9 humans! Which in Korea would allow it to use the “bus only” lanes.

Nothing else is known so far, but the new Palisade is expected to offer a new Hybrid option as well.

So far so good. This looks really interesting with an impressive interior. If Hyundai can keep the price close to what they are today, especially with a Hybrid option, they could have a huge hit on their hands in the US.

  1. No. Hate it. They ruined the best looking mid size SUV out there and turned it into a 1990s range rover.

  2. Where does the actual reveal leave Vince? It seems that for ages now, sketches and speculations of the next Pallisade have been all he’s posted.

    I guess there’s always the next RAV4.
