2026 Jeep Compass.

Jeep just released new teasers for the all-new 2026 Jeep Compass.
They are pretty obscure although the top image obviously shows the front-end design. Which looks very much like… A Jeep. So far so good. However, I am not sure what the second photo is.
The 3rd one is obviously the very first teaser we saw a few months ago.
We already know Jeep is working on an all-new Renegade model as well, which will be Jeep‘s most affordable EV in the US. That Renegade will of course be smaller than the Compass and the next-generation Cherokee is also due soon. I would think the computer-generated image shows the Renegade and not the Compass, but who knows…
The all-new Compass will come out later this year in Europe first. With production scheduled in Italy. While the US version could be built in Canada starting in 2026. And this is where things might become a bit more complicated these days. Since we now have huge tariffs on imported cars. Stellantis has already mentioned that the Compass could be late in North America. Since production at the Canadian plan has been up on hold. If production ends up moving to the US, it will also be more expensive.
The current Jeep Compass is the second generation that came out in 2016. This means it will be about 10 years old when replaced in the US by the new one. And yet, sales were up last year with over 96,000 units sold in the US. Almost 85,000 already this year.
The new Compass is part of an all-new Jeep lineup that is coming soon. Which will include the all-new Renegade and its $25,000 EV version. The new Recon is still scheduled to be introduced very soon. There is also a mysterious “mainstream utility vehicle” on the horizon. Whatever that means.
However, the whole industry is being disrupted because of these new tariffs and who knows what we will be getting over here.
