Last February, Kia introduced a new Kia EV2 concept. A small EV that looked like a shrunk EV9. A small, lumpy-looking thing that just showed how tired the current Kia EV design language could become in a couple of years.
Now we’re getting spy shots of the small Kia’s cousin, the Hyundai Ioniq 2. Which already looks better than the EV2.
The spy shots show a very “coupe-like” shape. Something very similar to the new 2026 Nissan Leaf.
It might not make it over here, but Canada would be a good candidate. Since they are getting the EV5 SUV very soon. And we’re not…

This is allegedly the Hyundai version and it’s just using the EV2’s wheels for now – notice how they’re the same as the ones in that last pic.
