Honda 0 Serie SUV.
Last Updated:

A few weeks ago, Honda showed the production version of the upcoming 0 Series SUV to the public, for the 1st time ever. I have to admit, that design has grown on me. To a point where I know cannot wait to see the real production car in person.
From photos of the production prototype, we can tell Honda has kept about 99% of the concept design for the real thing. Which is quite amazing. Including the vast windshiled and panoramic roof (seen in other photos). You can also tell the camouflaged unit is a US trim. With side markets and rear view mirrors instead of these ghastly cameras.
Unlike the current Prologue, this will be a 100% Honda product. Not much is known yet about Honda’s new EV. But it will use an all-new platform. A new operating system called ASIMO OS. Production will start next year in Ohio. And European sales will happen later in the year as well. NACS port will be standard and a range of over 300 miles is expected.
Size and pricing remain a mystery. It is rumored to be a little bit larger than the current CR-V (185 inches), but smaller than the new 2026 Passport (191,5 inches). The current Prologue is 192 inches long.
You would think a smaller EV would logically be less expensive. That would mean a new Honda EV SUV starting at under the Prologue base price of $47,400. Which doesn’t seem that hard to achieve, since the Prologue is priced higher than many EVs. However, the new EV seems to have higher-end features. Like that oversized windshield similar to what the much more expensive Lucid Air offers. A super giant panoramic glass roof. And an interior that seems far more modern than the Prologue. On top of it all, that “real Honda” feel that so many fans of the brand will be happy to get.
A $40,000 new Honda EV SUV would be great. The expensive Prologue has been a big success for Honda so far. Probably, at least in part, due to these fantastic lease deals available.
As I said earlier, I can’t wait to see this…
If i remember correctly, Honda is going to price these 0-series and the Afeela 1 above $80k. Based upon the pricing and the impractical designs (or the old Civic design of the Afeela), I don’t expect these to be commercially successful for Honda. What may be reasonably successful will be the Acura RSX as long as they dont screw up the front.
This is just as ugly as the cybertruck. They should bring the Ye series here instead of this crap
A BEV is fine. This is an answer to a question no one asked.
Holy rear blind spot Batman!
The homer mobile
Just announced yesterday that the SUV is not coming to the US anymore. 🙁
