BMW iX3.

These are the very first photos of the all-new BMW iX3 EV SUV. (before anyone is supposed to see it)

The iX3 is the production version of the Neue Klasse SUV we saw last year. The sedan concept did come out first; however, BMW decided to put the SUV model in production first. Of course…

No specs yet, since this is very early. We will know everything very soon. The new iX3 obviously looks the be about the size of the good old BMW X3. Except it rides on an all-new EV platform that BMW has already described as a game-changer.

The new design language is a complete departure from the current ghastly cars we see from BMW. However, it is also quite familiar. The general shape of the new SUV is obviously still very similar and instantly recognizable as a BMW SUV. Which guess is a good thing for the brand?

The new front end will also soon spread to almost all other BMW models. And even the current 5 Series sedan next year. A vast improvement over these giant grilles they all have right now. For some reason, the front bumper is not as clean as the concept. Probably because BMW still needs to ruin things up a bit. Old habits are hard to break…

So far, this is very, very interesting.

  1. It’s okay looking except for the unfortunate grille design which gives the vehicle the appearance of having buck teeth or a pig’s snout.

  2. Agree to come and I don’t know what they’re on or what strand or if they’re with a new supplier but they need to check the product that they’re using because this just looks so fake dumb crappy cheap futuristic something out of level Babylon 5. It’s now official. I am off the BMW and Mercedes wagon with the way that they are designing cars now it looks like I’m going with Genesis. Still have a little space for Lexus and Audi.
