This video shows the difference between the all-new 2025 BMW X3 and the Neue Klasse X concept. That concept is basically a preview of BMW‘s next EV SUV.
While the horrible-looking X3 is in line with the recent parade of ghastly designs from BMW, the X concept seems like a breath of fresh air. As well as the Sedan concept, also featured in the video. These are truly modern designs that will finally give hope to all of us who have been praying hard for something decent-looking from BMW.
They are hard at work on these 2 new models and they couldn’t be more welcome. Apparently, there is also a futuristic-looking coupe being developed on that same platform.
That’s almost too much good news…
It pains me to admit I really like this new design language. It will be interesting to see how production variants end up looking like, but what they have shown so far of the concepts looks good.
Now I am sure they will still be overpriced and unreliable like current German cars, but they won’t be ghastly looking, at least.
They both look terrible. BMW hasn’t anything decent since the i4 (except for the ghastly beaver teeth grille). THe Neue Klassue rear looks like an early 2000s Lincoln.
Half witted family member #1: I can’t believe how expensive cars have become.
HWFM #2: I know! All I want is a car with a grill that lights up. That shouldn’t cost me anything.
HWFM #3: I won’t buy a car without a pano roof or ventillated leather seats.
Me: You cry about inflation and the economy, but you can’t stop buying as much as you can get. And, you’re 2 paychecks away from insolvency.
HWFM #2: So….. I should get it?
Design is a matter of personal taste. Of course, my taste is better…..period!
Sad when the CUVs look better than the sedans at BMW. Sad.
