Mercedes C-Class Electric.

This new illustration shows what the new Mercedes C-Class Electric compact EV sedan could look like. It looks a lot like the teaser we just saw a few days ago, and is probably very close to the real thing we will see in a few months.
After the ghaslry looking GLC EV, Mercedes’s next EV will be an electric Mercedes C-class. A car that was to be known as the EQC Sedan until recently. And probably the same interior as the SUV we just saw. With its “Chinese car-looking” door-to-door screen displaying redundant info to everyone. Like a giant clock or a series of photos of your kids on the passenger screen. And it will, of course, have the same ghaslty and vulgar huge illuminated grille.
It seems Mercedes was caught in a corner and very surprised by the failure of their electric EQ series. I personally do like the EQS sedan. But the smaller EQE just doesn’t look the part for such an expensive car. And the SUVs are devoid of any personality. Adding chrome and Mercedes stars everywhere seems like the wrong way to fix things.
This new, smaller sedan was planned for years as the smallest of the EQ series, to be called the EQC. It seems Mercedes did a last-minute change and decided to give it that ghastly new grille. That grille doesn’t fit the SUV at all and will no doubt look even worse on a small sedan.
This is actually quite amazing. It will be interesting to see how long it will take, or even if, a company like Mercedes can recover from this series if horrible design mistakes.
