The Kia Seltos is due for a complete redesign soon. These super realistic illustrations above show what the next-generation could look like.
They all seem really close to the many spy shots we have seen of the new Kia over the past few months. And the result should be really close to the real thing. Which looks very much like a smaller Kia EV9. Or even a conventional ICE version of the EV5 sold around the world and coming soon to Canada.
The design is much more angular and quite a bit more aggressive than the current generation. Which is a trend these days, especially for SUVs.
The current model came out in 2019. But was only launched in the US as a 2021 model. US sales have been steady since launch and even increasing a bit. To almost 60,000 units last year. Which is actually better than when it came out. A new generation is also rumored to bring a hybrid option, which would make the small Kia SUV even more popular.
The current Seltos looks pretty old. Unlike you however, I thought the facelifted rear looked more modern than the prefacelift.
