Ford new 2027 EV pickup.

While the images above do not show the new Ford EV pickup, the real thing might be closer to this than we think.
The vehicle above is a new Nevo E07 pickup/SUV from the Chinese manufacturer Changan. An interesting, however weird-looking, experiment that tries to blend a pickup and an SUV. I had seen photos of this a while ago and thought it was pretty horrible. I am actually getting used to it and am now thinking it’s a pretty cool idea.
Ford‘s CEO Jim Farley very recently mentioned the upcoming new EV pickup based on the new Lowcost platform, by saying, “Our first body style will be a pickup, but it’s really not a pickup. I would say it’s a new silhouette. What I mean by that is that it has more room than a RAV4, the best-selling passenger car in the US. That doesn’t include its frunk and pickup truck bed”. He basically described something like the Changan Nevo 07.
Comparing a new pickup to the Toyota RAV4 is a bit weird, unless your new vehicle is some kind of crossover between a pickup and an SUV. Just like the Changan. Something like this would really be unique in the North American market. Especially since Chinese vehicles aren’t coming over any time soon.
The new truck could also be quite an amazing deal since it is still scheduled to start at $30,000. Or at least $3000 under the 2025 Rav4 Hybrid (The redesigned 2026 model will probably cost even more).
If Ford managed to design the new truck to be attractive, they could actually have a big hit on their hands when it comes out. A new truck/car that could
