The popular Hyundai Tucson is due for a redesign. And today we have a new illustration as well as 2 spy shots giving us a look at the new interior.
The new illustration above shows what we have seen from the many spy shots previously published. This is a much more angular shape, similar to the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe. Or even some Kia models.
Inside, it’s hard to say. It seems Hyundai likes to mix blocky exterior designs with much softer interior shapes. Just lie with the new 2026 Palisade.
To me, that already feels a little tired and frankly, quite easy and repetitive. All new Kias start looking the same these days. And the new, very angular-looking, generation Hyundai Santa Fe has not been as popular (At least in the US) as the previous one.
The illustration above also shows quite a busy design. especially the front end. It seems obnoxiously big grilles are being replaced by an infinite number of horizontal lines.
The current Tucson has been a big hit for Hyundai, with over 206,000 sold last year alone. The next one could end up being a bit too much of a gamble…
