Insignia wagon in the US
Last Updated:
This Opel Insignia wagon was caught testing in Michigan.
Buick is seriously considering bringing over the wagon version and turn it into the new Buick Regal wagon.
They would be pretty much alone in the US market. There are no wagon versions of the Accord, Camry, Mazda6 or Altima in the US.
Only Honda is planning to bring the TSX (Euro Accord) wagon to the States next year.
Could be a very interesting comparison..
WOW!!! I was'nt expecting this. I hope this car does real well. I think it should but what I think and what the rest of the buying public thinks are two different things.
Buick & GM:
Please bring this one to the NA market. We need more wagons to replace the gas sucking SUV's. I really like the styling. It reminds be of the Audi Q7 and Q5 in the side views.
I'd still rather have the TSX.
Honda quality, reliability, and resale value can't be beat.
I hope they bring the wagon verson of this car to the U.S. This would be perfect for me to haul my Giant Schnauzer around in.
I would love a Regal wagon. Turbo 4, AWD, great fuel economy…I'm sold.
No question about it! Buick should definitely bring the Insignia wagon to the U.S. and market it as the Regal Wagon. It looks great and would certainly attract a younger clientele and bring more publicity to the Buick brand.
We had a buick wagon in 1970. I still remember getting my fingers slammed in the door….
I saw one of these recently in Switzerland and was extremely impressed. I have a Volvo XC70 and I would trade it in a heartbeat for one of these wagons.
By the way, Acura will be selling the euro accord wagon next year and it also is extremely nice.
This wagon will be a hit.
Re-establish the "Roadmaster" name.
NICE NICE NICE! Love it. This is a great looking wagon. How wonderful would it be if they offered an AWD performance version like the S4 Avant that Audi no longer offers here.
Looks like a Geely Volvo.
