This is news? GM has been outperforming Toyota in safety, gas mileage, styling, etc., etc., for the last FIVE YEARS ALREADY!
What a Daewoo is more safe than a Toyota?

That may be true and I agree. That's just another reason why I rather have something else other than an everyday Corolla or Camry you see on the roads every 5 seconds.
Didn't the Chinese cars get 3 stars as well?
So I guess they're not any worse than Toyotas.

I totally agree.
The Toyotas that are built around the rest of the world dont have hardly any of the issues with them as they do in the USA.

You guys are suffering from an extreme case of denial. The Toyota's made elsewhere in the world are no better than the crap Toyota makes in the US & Canada. All Toyota's plants, robots, computer systems, etc are laid out by the same people for a particular model. The Camery's in Japan or England have the same suldge problems, rust problems, reliability problems, goofy styling and sub-par safety records as the Toyotas made everywhere else.
I think Honda is better than any of them, but the Cruze crash test is impressive.
I hope for GM's sake that the Cruze is equally as favorable in driving characteristics and reliability.

Where is the 3 star car built? The USA? If not, then why did it get 3 stars. Crash safety has very little to do with build quality and everything with design.
Remember this car has been out a couple of years now. Expect them to hit 5 stars on the next go around.
Also, what will you people say if the Cruze comes in less than perfect in US crash testing?
