Acura Integra.

Last Updated:

A new generation Acura Integra is still a few years away. A refreshed model is expected later this year for the 2026 model year.

It will probably get very small changes since that’s what happened to the 2025 Honda Civic, besides the addition of a hybrid powertrain. That also means the current design would live for at least another 2 or 3 years.

Meanwhile, Honda will have a production version of the 0 Series Saloon prototype we just saw a few weeks ago. That car will probably look quite different from the prototype. We’ve already seen the Acura version of the Honda 0 Series SUV as the new 2026 RSX. Which itself is a toned-down version of the Acura concept we saw last year.

That means Acura could still be getting a sedan based on that new EV platform. Acura currently offers 2 sedans. The TLX and the Integra. The TLX sales numbers are not great with just over 16,700 of them sold in 2023. And apparently under 8000 last year. The Integra is doing much better with over 32,000 of them sold in 2023.

If Acura has to keep only one sedan the Integra is an obvious choice. And maybe a good one to be Acura’s next EV sedan based on the 0 Series Saloon.

Some journalists have already driven test mules and have said these prototypes are already lower than the current Accord. This means a lower sportier design would fit a next-generation Integra very well.

So far, Honda claims they will produce a “low, long, wide car” and 2 SUVs in Ohio in 2026. Which are the 0 Saloon and SUV for Honda and the RSX for Acura. Beyond these, a larger 3-row SUV is planned for 2027. With 2 more SUVs and a compact sedan before 2030.

That sedan might be too late to be a new Integra, but all these models look a lot like they will end up replacing pretty much all of Honda’s current models.

Things will finally be very interesting for Honda. Very soon.
