New Tesla Model Y pricing.

Last Updated:

The only version of the revised 2025 Tesla Model Y available was, so far, the $61,000 loaded Launch Series. A new, more mainstream trim just became available.

It is the long range AWD version priced at $ 49,000. Which, I believe, is actually $630 cheaper than the previous long range AWD model. The previous Model Y range also included a Long Range 2WD for $46,630. And a Standard Range model for $44,630.

The revised Model Y seems to be a good deal when compared to the previous model, with a revised front and rear dsign and, especially, improved interior. Suspention and noise have also benefited from improvements.

While the price hasn’t increased, the lease pricing has. To $499 a month, which is not gret for a $49,000 EV these days. The better looking 20 wheels are not cheap as a $2000 option. Stealth Grey is the only color included. Everything else is from $1000 to $2000.

While the Tesla Model Y was still the World’s best selling car last year, the new version faces new and huge new challenges. The main one being most people claiming they would never buy a Tesla. Up to 95% in Germany. With sales plunging in many countries as well. Again, up to over 75% in Australia.

Ironically, the new improved Model Y might not be as popular as the previous version…
