BMW sub 1 series car

We should see the real thing sometimes in 2012, unless they show us a concept version before.
It would be priced between the Mini and the 1 series.

The 1 series is as small as BMW needs to get. This looks like a $hitty economy car.
Probably is a Mini in BMW clothing.
This is just what we deserve to drive if the DC folks can have their way.
You could put the propeller emblem on a piece of crap and people here in so cal will buy it ! that being said this thing is gonna sell for 27k ? between mini 25k and the 1 series 30k .. seems a bit way overpriced but hey it will be a bimmer and all the secretary's can brag they own a bimmer, and guys if you buy one you may get your man card revoked !
This thing is a freakin' joke to me. A super tiny, front wheel drive competitor to it's own Mini. Why don't they just expand their mini lineup a little more than they have? I personally think the smallest car BMW should have is the 3 series. And how much is this p.o.s. gonna cost? Even if it starts at $23k, we all know how BMW nickle and dimes everyone. And I think it's going to devalue the name BMW a little. I guess this is just their way of making future cafe standards later.
Wow, this is the answer to the question no one asked, in the US anyway…
And you can have any body style you want in the U.S., as long as it has a minimum of 4 doors.
This is a mistake. Giving BMW a "Cimmaron" will make the whole lineup look like just another VW. Especially if VW Pheaton shares space with Golfs & BMW 1 shares space with 7 series.
