I have to say, I like it.

I think it looks better than the Q5. Inside and out.
The Q5 always looked pretty generic to me. And it doesn’t seem to have one of these great Audi interiors.

This is pretty cute, and seems roomy enough.
It could be a nice step up from someone moving up from a CRV, or similar.

The Q5 starts at around $35 000 here. This could be maybe around $30 000, or a bit less.
I think it could work.

But so far, the Q3 isn’t in the card for the US lineup.

  2. Seriously, what you said doesn't make any sense at all. We all know for sure that Q3 is definitely derived from Q5. It looks almost identical especially the exterior. And yes, I think Q5 is much nicer than this Q3.

    The Q5 is based on the MLP platform used also for the A5.
    The new Q3 is based on the PQ 35 platform Used for the Golf Mk5 and the VW Tiguan.

    I don't know you these "we all know for sure" people you're talking about are, but they're all wrong.

  4. The CRV and RDX are due for a remake. We have no idea what they will cost and what they will feature. Don't forget the Rav4 is supposed to be replaced and within the next year or 2 a new Forester based on the updated Imprezza.

    People BUY Hondas, they lease Audis because they can't be trusted outside the warranty period (past performance is a b**ch). Que the "My Audi blah, blah has lasted …… miles".

    What I meant was the design of the car! Not the platform! Regardless of the platform, they all looked identical in design. Just like all other Audi SUVs. Q7, Q5 and now Q3!

  6. I think it's a given that the Q3 will be added to the US lineup, especially when the next A3 arrives as a sedan only. 🙁

  7. Let's put you in the back seat for 3 hours non-stop and see if you still like it. Mabey shoe-horn a friend or two back ther with you. An uncomfortable back seat is a complete waste of money in my opinion — it totally defeats the purpose of paying extra for 2 more doors & a seat.
