Lexus LF-FC Concept
Last Updated:
This is supposed to preview the next LS sedan.
It does look quite nice. Even with that (bigger than ever) giant mouth.
Or maybe I am getting used to it after all these years…
It actually is trying. Attempting to give a big sedan design some personality.
Unlike the 7 series. Or the A8 (And just wait for the “even more boring” next A8…)
We’ll have to wait and see how much of this ends up in the actual car.
I would have expected the FC concept to preview Lexus' version of the Mirai (fuel cell).
I'm not a big Lexus fan, but this actually looks fairly decent. That being said, I'm not digging the boomerang shaped taillights. Other than that, I think this will be a handsome new gen flagship sedan for the brand.
Lexus are overpriced and ugly ….yes all of them, but tone down the ugly grill and maybe u got a lagonda type car
rear 3/4 windows are all infiniti and nissan tail lights, meaning ….nice!
I'll come right out and say it, I hate Toyotas and Lexus. I know why they appeal to the masses, but they do nothing for me. Period. What I don't understand is why the design language between the two brands is increasingly overlapping. Toyota is a huge corporation, they can afford to distinguish their luxury brand from the mainstream vehicles. The tail lights, the grilles, the interior lines and exterior flare. It looks all the same to me on the new models, as if they have one guy doing their ENTIRE corporate lineup. But as I said at the outset, maybe it just doesn't matter. Automobile enthusiasts just don't buy these things…
holy fucking shit. a new Lexus (yes its just a concept but even so) that is not hideous and grotesque. in fact, it's pretty good looking. not sure what witchery is going on, but even the gaping mouth doesn't offend me here.
wow.
This Mirai styling needs to stop. What is it that compels the Japanese to make taillights that go from floor to ceiling, it looks awful. For the last decade, every year, Nissan found a way to make the headlights bigger — I joke that one day, they'll meet the tail lights in the middle of the car — but we're not far off from this. Just stop, please.
If I look past the taillights, the side of the car looks good, if a bit tesla model s-ish.
The side glass areas is too small. Cars should have big windows. After Lexus tones it down, maybe it'll be passable.
Wait, something is wrong here…a decent looking Lexus, what gives?
