2021 Hyundai Tucson: this is it!
Last Updated:
I have to say, there is nothing disappointing in these pictures. the all-new Hyundai Tucson for 2021 has a tricking and modern design. And what looks like a fantastic interior for its class. Really, this is one of the best interior designs around.
Hyundai seems to be making a big push in Europe with this new model. Mentioning it will be built locally. And offer both Hybrid and plug-in Hybrid versions on top of the regular gas models.
A manual transmission will also be offered in Europe!
Apparently, the US version will be a 2022 model, on sale early next year. And the Hybrid and Plug-in Hybrid versions are coming over here as well.
The main engine in the US will be the 2.5 Liter with 187HP. While the 1.6 Liter Turbo will be used on the Hybrid/Plug-in hybrid versions. With up to 227HP.
Looks nice except the wheel wells plastic.
You’re so obviously a Hyundai/Kia fanboy. Just change your site name already.
To think where Hyundai began and see the product they’re putting out now, is nothing short of astonishing. The new Tucson will be a big hit!
The wheels are terrible and way too many accent lines and creases on the side panels, but that is about it. They are going to sell a ton of these.
Its insane how amazing this looks. Looks like a concept car. Finally a car that looks like it belongs in the 20's.
Like the interior design but the exterior is a Frankenstein mess.
I think it's a disaster with the exception of the interior. Imo, the new Rogue is more appealing, with the exception of the powertrain. I think the current Tuscon has a much better exterior design. With the unusual surfacing and squared off wheel arches, it is way too busy and overstyled, but as usual, I will wait and reserve final judgement when I actually see one.
I like the exterior design and LOVE the interior. The only thing I know I wouldn't like is the lack of physical buttons (knobs) for radio, ac, etc…. It does make the interior look a lot cleaner but I feel it's a lot easier to have the usual buttons.
The chrome arch over the side windows shows how the new Elantra should've looked, instead of having that nasty black plastic behind the rear doors.
This new Tucson is a nice design. I'd say that the interior and the exterior don't match, though
Hyundai is absolutely killing it and they are going to sell an absolute ton of these because it will by far be the best looking CUV inside and out. At first glance I thought the exterior looked a little busy but then I realized how many C-HRs I see being driven by women and it makes me think this will sell really really well especially with that interior. Kudos to Hyundai for coming such a long way, hopefully we'll continue to see better products from Honda and Toyota as a result of pressure from the Koreans.
Not for me. What a disappointment compared to all the hype from the illustrations/concept.
They announced the base trim starts from $21K in Korea. So, we should expect similar pricing.
The interior is nice but that hoodless gage cluster will be a nightmare in the sun. The exterior is a mess suffering from crease overload. Is this supposed to be a car or origami?
love it! It's unique, modern and INTERESTING looking! non car people will notice it. Love the front and rear of this thing, not crazy about the side profile folds but the overall design works. Much better than competitors (I'm looking at you, RAV4! and Forester!)
great job on the interior, very nice integration of the big screen!
I hope they sell a ton of these, Hyundai/KIA/Genesis are really the design leaders nowadays.
