2023 Honda Odyssey: early spy shots?

Last Updated:

The next-generation Odyssey minivan will no doubt be based on Honda’s new Global Light Truck platform. Which is currently used for the new Acura MDX. And also the next-generation Honda Pilot.
It does look a bit sleeker than the current generation. And will probably be a lot cleaner than the new Toyota Sienna.
The pressure will be on Honda to offer a Hybrid option for the new minivan. Since it has been available for years on the Chrysler Pacifica and is actually standard on the new Sienna.
(Although still not available in the US on the new Kia Carnival. )

  1. I'm not convinced this is a Honda. That camo pattern doesn't look on-brand for them.

The desin itself also looks like another step backwards. I still stand by the previous gen Ody as the best looking of them all. The current gen got too curvy and chintzy. The taillights on this thing are HUGE. The greenhouse is oddly tall. And the door rail is below the DLO, not integrated like it should be (how Honda self-corrected to with the current gen).

  2. Looks like a facelift for the international version. Didn't it already get a facelift a year ago?

  3. ITS THE FACELIFTED Japanese version…its far too narrow to be the US version. Google "Honda Odyssey Japanese version" and the exact car comes up…even the rims are the same.

  5. This is the already existing international market Odyssey, just a facelift for it.
