As you can see, this is NOT the all-new XV-90 we’ve been waiting for. But just another facelift for the good old XC-90 we’ve seen since 2015.
It seems Volvo is getting cold feet about replacing it with the all-new model that is still coming soon. The new generation could be an EV-only model. Looking like a cross between an SUV and a wagon. Which might not be to everyone’s taste.
Volvo has apparently decided not to kill the popular current generation yet. Giving it a few tweaks to keep it alive for another couple of years.
And why not.
Looks as boring as ever.
It’s not cold feet – it’s a smart move for more sales. They sold the old XC-90 for a while with this generation too…
