Lexus CT: next generation illustration…

The Lexus CT is actually still in production until October. Although it hasn’t been sold in the US since 2017.
It was basically replaced by the small UX SUV. Which, at least in the US, is much more popular than the CT ever was. (Although “popular” is relative with sales of just 17 581 units last year)
I guess some people still think Lexus is actually working on a second-generation CT for some markets. Although there has been zero information about that. At least, the illustration above shows us what could have been, in a world not taken over by SUVs…
They need to change the greenhouse from the ground up. That silhouette is old now. Makes the car look like a confused facelift (3rd and 4th genreration Sportage) than a true next generation.
