2025 Cadillac Lyriq?
Last Updated:

The top photo shows a Cadillac Lyriq with a slightly different front end for the Chinese market. Which I had never seen before since the Lyriq has been on sale over there looking the same as the one we get.
Although, the 3rd photo shows a model called “IQ” for the Chinese market. One that does have the same front end as the US Lyric (2nd pic)
It would seem the Lyriq is now a cheaper model with a simpler grille design in China. And what is this “IQ” thing?
The whole thing is most likely explained by the recent launch of a cheaper RWD version of the Lyriq in China with a smaller battery, Which is probably the car in the top photo. Although I am still not sure why the more expensive one would be called IQ. ( I wonder if the simpler grille will soon adorn the RWD versions of the US Lyriq.)
All is now well in the world, and I will not be losing sleep tonight over this…
That’s the front end of the sport trim, also available in the US.
