2025 Hyundai Palisade.

Last Updated:

With an all-new Hyundai Palisade coming later this year as a 2025 model, we now have tons of illustrations coming up, showing what the big SUV could look like.

Most are guessing a much more angular squared-off shape after seeing the various spy shots of prototypes driving around. Hyundai has already mentioned the styling will be very different from the recurrent generation, similar to what they did with the 2024 Santa Fe. But not necessarily in the same style. Although many seem to think the new Palisade could have a Range Rover-inspired design. Which, I think, would be a mistake.

. The first illustration shows something that is much sleeker than the espy shots and although nice, isn’t very realistic.

. The second one is doing a better job of trying to match the spy shots without looking too much like a Range Rover. Which could turn out to be pretty close.

. The 3rd illustration is something I’ve already posted last year and got quite a few negative reactions. Most claimed it looked too much like a Cadillac. After seeing the spy shots of the real thing I think it could be quite realistic.

. The next one could be the ugliest SUV on earth if ever produced.

. The white one below could be another serious contender for the ugliest SUV design ever.

. The last one is a bit too sleek and the front end resembles past generations of Hyundai SUVs.

Which one do you think is the closest to the real thing?

This is the real thing. The 2025 Hyundai Palisade, which will be available with a new V6 Turbo engine or a 2.5 Liter 4 cylinder hybrid.

  1. Looks like it will have a longitudinally mounted engine based on the dash to axle ratio and the fairly short front overhang.

  2. The first couple pics I like- the blue ones, yes looknlot like Cadillac- the white one is ugly – the last one (real life) I don’t think I will like it based on what can see. Especially the grill- I like the aggression front end. I have a 2023 limited- one thing I don’t like is seat comfort, especially on longer drives. Hope they fix that and make it easier to figure out how to turn on/off all features like lane keep, auto parking (don’t like having to use phone ) etc .

  3. Hopefully, it will look nothing like the ’24 Sante Fe…
We were excited seeing the pics, but sad and greatly disappointed when we saw in person…
And, all of the issues with Hyundai…
Oil issues, now valve springs, recalls, recalls, recalls…
Thinking we’ll stick with Japanese models, not Korean.
