The official Teaser from Toyota above and this completely covered-up prototype are the only things we’ve actually seen of the all-new 2025 Toyota 4 Runner, so far.
That didn’t prevent various illustrators from going nuts and producing some pretty wild guesses about the new design. let’s see some of them…
These go from the crazy-looking Syd Mead wannabe futuristic design to the super boring “smaller Land Cruiser” look.
From the official teaser, I’m not expecting much visually. I know the Toyota 4 Runner has a huge built-in base and Toyota doesn’t really need to change it that much to have the fans excited. This will probably end up looking a lot like an SUV version of the new Tacoma, unfortunately.
Although the new Land Cruiser was a bit surprised. With a really cool retro yet original design that most didn’t see coming. adding some retro touches to the new 4 runner would be very nice. However, the 2 tone blue/silver paint job on the teaser could forecast some bad news.
As usual, we’ll have to wait and see…
