GMC Sierra.

Last Updated:

This week I am driving a GMC Sierra pickup truck.

That usually means 7 days of difficulties parking everywhere. And no Trader Joe’s shopping for a week.

The version I have is an absolutely loaded Sierra Denali Ultimate. It is powered by a 3.0 Liter Diesel engine with a 10 speed automatic. All of this for a total of $ 85,590. Besides the ridiculous size around town, it has a fantastic interior.

As usual, please feel free to ask any questions you might have about it. I will post a full review and video soon.

  1. Since you have a unique powertrain, please concentrate your review on the diesel engine. How does it drive, what is the cost difference in diesel fuel vs gasoline, and of course, what kind of fuel efficiency did you achieve?

  2. The US trucks are the modern version of the “large American cars”.. look at the cars in the 1960s to mid-1970s.. the US cars were huge compared to their European and Japanese counterparts.

The last few times I’ve landed at LAX the rental agency gave me a full size truck. I absolutely loved them! Large, comfortable, tons of tech. Super smooth on the highway and in town. The only downsides: parking and fuel.

Check out the RAM 1500 Limited! It’s a true luxury vehicle with a truck bed. Even the new ‘24 Chevy Silverado was superior to the small cars and SUVs available at Avis

Looking forward to your review of the GMC
