From the more recent spy shot above, the new angular design of the 2026 Hyundai Palisade seems like a drastic change compared to the current model.
The Hyundai Palisade has always been a bit lumpy and way overdone. A big SUV from a mainstream brand trying too hard to look luxurious. The massive plasticky chrome grille alone is a dead giveaway that this is not a true luxury vehicle, but a first try at luxury.
Besides the angular design, it’s hard to see anything else in the spy shot. Proportions seem to be exactly the same as the current Palisade. This makes sense since the next generation is rumored to use the same platform or a slightly revised version of it.
As mentioned before, the next-generation Hyundai Palisade is supposed to get a newer 3.5 Liter V6 Turbo replacing the 3.8 Liter in the current model. A new Hybrid powertrain using a 2.5 Liter engine is also planned.
