2025 Tesla Model Y.

Last Updated:

This new photo of the revised Tesla Model Y seems quite interesting. At first…

There are so many things that make it fake upon a more detailed look. The bottom photo shows the actual thing. and it’s quite different.

that top photo also shows a license plate holder that says “South California”. Somehow the cars on the left look pretty realistic. Like a Chevrolet Equinox. However, the license plate seems Chinese. There are also weird lines going on at the top of the rear hatch window.

On top of everything, I really don’t think Tesla is ready to test totally uncovered prototypes of the revised Model Y on public roads yet…

We all know the Tesla Model Y is due for a refresh. These are the latest photos from China showing the facelifted EV coming up early next year.

Of course, it is not an all-new car, and we can guess new lights, front and rear, will be on the menu. The interior is rumored to match the revised Model 3 that came out a few months ago. However, there seems to be a strange bulge behind the front wheel, right by the front door. The arch seems to be sticking out more than on the current model. Or maybe it’s just the grainy photo and camouflage, who knows?

There is also a rumor about a larger 95 kWh battery being available on the revised Model Y. Something that would give the EV a longer range of 800 km/497 miles in China. Currently, the longest-range Model Y available in the US is rated at 337 miles. EPA numbers for the new battery will be lower than in China but could still reach around 400 miles.
