2025 Tesla Model Y.

Last Updated:

As expected, we are finally seeing a few more spy photos of the upcoming revised Tesla Model Y for 2025.

The top picture shows the rear end of the car with a cover pulled up. It seems there might be a light bar across the rear of the car. However, that red light could also come from the rear lights on the sides.

It is also expected the Model Y to get the same changes the Model 3 got last year. However, the photo seems to show a different rear-end design from the current Model Y as well as the revised Model 3.

Same thing inside where the Model Y’s new interior was rumored to match the new Model 3. As you can see from the top photo, the door panel is different from the 2024 Model 3. At least the top part.

From these photos, it seems Tesla would have more changes in store for the Model Y than they did for the Model 3. This does make sense since it is by far their best seller and even was the best-selling car in the world last year. Although sales have been taking a nose dive recently, especially with “Moron in Chief” Elon Musk alienating the majority of Tesla buyers around the world.

While the 2024 Model 3 didn’t get meaningful improvements regarding its batteries and powertrains, things could hopefully be more interesting with the revised Model Y. Tesla is not only losing grounds in sales, but others are catching up with tech as well. Many of its competitors offer faster charging speeds and longer battery ranges these days. And the excellent Tesla charging network will soon be available to all. (If Elon gets it together enough to re-hire enough people in charge of the network).

After just 4 years, no one expects an all-new Tesla Model Y. But it does need to look a bit new and be quite improved to lure current owners and others who haven’t bought one yet.

  1. i’m surprised that Tesla stock is still above $200/share. Someone is buying that up at high prices and I wouldn’t be surprised if its from Eastern Europe.

  2. It was rumored that the Model Y would get different end caps than the Model 3. Other more substantial changes under the skin.

  3. “Moron in Chief” Elon Musk alienating the majority of Tesla buyers around the world ? what does this even mean, how is he alienating Tesla buyers?
