2026 Toyota RAV4.

These new illustrations seem to show a pretty realistic idea of what the redesigned Toyota RAV4 will look like for the 2026 model year.
The next-generation RAV4 is now expected to get a new design. Not just a facelift with a new interior like the current Toyota Camry. it is also rumored to be a bit longer than the current generation by about 4 or 5 inches, with a longer wheelbase as well.
While the new 1.5 Liter Hybrid powertrain might not be available at launch, the PHEV model is expected to get a larger battery. Which would result in a much improved EV-only range of around 60 miles. Something that could be quite a game-changer for many potential buyers. Since 60 miles a day is actually more than enough for most people.
The current RAV4 is Toyota‘s most popular car in the US by far with over 475,000 units sold last year, which was a huge jump from the already great 434,000 number in 2023. The current older model is getting more and more popular every year. If Toyota can manage to reduce the price of their new PHEV model the new RAV4 could be even more popular than ever.
The rest of the lineup is also rumored to be Hybrid only, just like the current Toyota Camry. With a powertrain that is very similar to what is used in the recurrent model. Again, since Toyota’s new 1.5 Liter and 2.0 Liter engines aren’t quite ready yet.
Of course, there are no dates and no idea of pricing yet.
Stay tuned…
