A new Jeep Compass is on its way later this year. The illustration on top shows what it could look like.
While the computer image of a Stelantis file seems to show something a bit different. Especially the C-pillar. or is it some color mistake? The official teaser rendering in the middle also shows something a bit longer than the computer image.
We already know Jeep is working on an all-new Renegade model as well. Which will be Jeep‘s most affordable EV in the US. That Renegade will of course be smaller than the Compass and the next-generation Cherokee is also due soon. I would think the computer-generated image shows the Renegade and not the Compass, but who knows…
The all-new Compass will come out later this year in Europe first. With production scheduled in Italy. While the US version could be built in Mexico starting in 2026.
As you can see from the teaser image, the new Compass will look much sleeker than the current model.
The current Jeep Compass is the second generation that came out in 2016. This means it will be about 10 years old when replaced in the US by the new one. And yet, sales were up last year with over 96,000 units sold in the US. Almost 85,000 already this year.
The new Compass is part of an all-new Jeep lineup that is coming soon. Which will include the all-new Renegade and its $25,000 EV version. The new Recon is still scheduled to be introduced very soon. There is also a mysterious “mainstream utility vehicle” on the horizon. Whatever that means.
