Dodge Charger

Dodge just added a cool option to the new Charger.

The Fratzog Strip package gives the new Dodge EV a retro touch that many might appreciate. The new package includes matte stripes all across the length of the car. Ev en on top of the glass roof. This might actually be a weird idea if it effectively blocks most of the review from the inside. On cars equipped with the glass roof option, the stripe can be seen from the inside of the car.

Dodge seems to be pulling all the stops to convince muscle car fans about the new Charger. As the new package was unveiled at SpringFest 2025. “Spring Fest is one of the many customer events that gives us a great opportunity to meet with our owners in this region in person, give them a chance to learn about our newest products, show potential new customization options and get their direct feedback.” Says CEO Matt McAlear.

I wish them luck since old-fashioned muscle car fans seem pretty hard to convince about the inevitable EV transition.

In other news, there is a rumor about the upcoming 6-cylinder ICE version of the new Dodge Charger being a PHEV. 2 versions of the inline 6-cylinder would be available, with 426HP or 548HP.

Maybe that’s not new but at least, it’s new to me. I think a PHEV could actually be a cool idea if the only range is decent enough. Something above 40 miles.
