This is an official Toyota image of the all-new generation RAV4 SUV for 2026.
Apparently, this comes from the Toyota New Zealand site. And was taken down quickly. Of course…
It shows the more off-road oriented version of the new RAV4. Something we saw in a couple of the teasers Toyota released a few days ago.
From this photo alone you can tell the new RAV4 is completely different and yet very familiar. Which is what Toyota had said last year. Which is understandable since over 475,000 of them were sold in the US alone last year. And that means plenty of potential repeat customers for the new one.
However, if you didn’t like the previous RAV4, you probably won’t like this one either. I guess this more outdoorsy trim could attract a few people who might be interested to impress their friends, co-workers and family members by pretending to be someone they’re not.
Driving down a wild river like what we see her is also probably illegal in most places in the US anyway.
