Chrysler SUV.
Last Updated:

There have been zero new Chrysler models for many years now. With the death of the 300 sedan in December 2023, the only model currently on sale is the Pacifica Minivan. A model that started production in 2016. The amazing part is that even with only one old model on sale, Chrysler sales in 2024 have dropped by just 7% over the previous year.
We saw the futuristic Chrysler Halcyon concept a while ago. However, unlike the concept for the new Dodge Charger, Jeep Recon, and Wagoneer S, the Halcyon did not look like a production car at all. Even though Chrysler’s CEO, Christine Feuell, keeps mentioning there will be a new model every year starting at the end of 2025. She mentions: “Chrysler brand is here to stay. It is being well invested in. The brand is not on the table for elimination, and it has a very bright future.”
The first all-new Chrysler in years will be a brand-new SUV based on the STLA Large platform and heavily related to the Jeep Wagoneer S, with its own design and interior. Not a Halcyon-based sedan. The all-new model is still scheduled for later this year. A revised or new-generation Chrysler Pacifica is also coming out in 2026. Followed by an EV version. They are apparently still working on a production version of the Halcyon concept to be released “at a later date”.
This could actually be great news for the brand. Since SUVs are what people buy. A good-looking SUV EV competing against GM’s Ultium models. Like the Chevrolet Blazer EV or Cadillac Lyriq. It would probably be a lifesaver for Chrysler.
The illustration above shows what a new STLA-based Chrysler SUV could look like. One that is not really based on the Halcyon concept. A softer, more luxurious version of the Jeep Wagoneer S.
Jayzuz Arfing Cripes! Do something already Stellantis, you arthritic imbiciles! Chrysler SHOULD HAVE BEEN the brand leading the hybrid and EV front in the US: a minivan, a sedan and two SUVs. Instead, they’ve stupidly tried to make Jeep a luxury brand EV and Dodge a sports EV brand. Well, for all our sakes, do SOMETHING.
Let’s all hope that SOMETHING is coming soon and that it looks NOTHING like that rendering.
Chrysler need to do better. All wheel drive van, 2 door sport car, and a 8 seater van all wheel drive plus a better 300..
What product will WTAP Warren Truck Assembly Plant receive? When will there be an announcement about the future of this plant?
I am 49 years old I have owned 11 cars thus far. The first 9 were Chrysler or Dodge products. I am an American muscle fan. I always loved the curves of the vehicles that Chrysler/Dodge put out. Always bold always looking more expensive that it really was. But due to the lack of new innovations decline in spending in R&D. No new products came down the pipe they simply refreshed or rebranded old stock introducing it as something new. As such, it was with a heavy heart that my 10th and 11th car purchase was not a Chrysler/Dodge product. I can’t believe i did the change but I could not justify spending good hard earned money on something that was old and outdated. Yes folks my 10th vehicle was a 2022 mitsubishi outlander and my 11th vehicle is a 2025 mitsubishi outlander. I miss the look and I miss the power and handling my previous Chrysler/Dodge products had but I’m sorry I made the jump for reliability and for new technology. If Stellantis would really in new technology and new innovations and pump out something that’s worth buying i would so happy to return to them.
