New Buick Electra L7 sedan.

We just saw a concept of this, and here is the actual production car. A very important model for Buick since it is their first sedan in many years. Even if so far this is only for the Chinese market, where Buick is vastly more popular than in North America.
It is a very nice and very modern design. (Something that would have been a futuristic concept just a couple of years ago). An attractive, sleek sedan that seems ready to do battle against the many new EV and PHEV sedans coming out in China. It’s great to see GM not giving up and still being very competitive over there.
The first available model of the new Buick sedan is a PHEV with a 1.5-liter engine used as a range extender. A full EV version could come at a later date.
At 198 inches long, this isn’t a small sedan. It is about 2 inches longer than a Lucid Air. And almost exactly the same size as the 2019 Buick Lacrosse, the brand’s last sedan sold in the US.
From what GM was saying just a few days ago, the new Electra sub-brand will quickly grow with a brand new SUV and a new luxury Minivan. I wonder if there would be any market for a new Buick sedan in the US using a Range Extender, which sounds similar to what GM was doing many years ago with the Chevrolet Volt…
