2028 Chrysler 300.

A new generation Chrysler 300 might be coming in a couple of years. And there seems to be a little bit more news about it. Although, as usual from Stellantis, nothing concrete…

The Chrysler Halcyon concept was supposed to give us a glimpse of future Chrysler models. However, the super-futuristic design really prevents Stelantis from turning it into an actual production car. Unlike the Dodge Charger concept, the Jeep Recon and Wagoneer S concepts. These were all previews of upcoming production models.

CEO Chris Feuell is still mentioning the Halcyon as a preview of Chrysler’s future. We have been told a brand new SUV is coming. It seems it has now been pushed from later this year to early 2027. With a reveal in 2026. The upcoming Alfa-Romeo Stelvio SUV has also been delayed, and maybe even canceled for North America.

We also keep hearing a revised Chrysler Pacifica is coming soon, with an EV later. Chris Feuell mentioned recently that a production version of the Halcyon as a sedan was still possible. After the new SUV.

Now, we are told a new model, “Inspired by the Halcyon,” is still on the table. “I believe the car segment is ripe for growth and resurgence”.

While the Halcyon was a striking design, it might be too far out as a Chrysler 300 replacement. The name also means nothing to Chrysler fans or buyers (Whoever they might be). A new Chrysler 300 is what they really need after the SUV. “Inspired” by Halcyon would be OK. However, a spaceship on 4 wheels might not be what the brand needs anytime soon.

The image above shows what a new Chrysler 300 sedan could look like. One that isn’t inspired by the Halcyon. A new sedan that instead, would be an homage to the previous generations.

  1. Hey Vince! This concept illustration looks pretty good. Especially compared to most of the bland stuff on sale today. I must say that front end design has more echoes of the Imperial by Chrysler than a 300.

  2. The front end design is hideous, but otherwise it’s a cool looking illustration and concept.

  3. I drive a 2007 300 Hemi with 90,000 MI wasn’t planning on getting a new one for quite some time because this one has no problems whatsoever but if that Chrysler 300 that is picture in this article was to come out I will trade it in a heartbeat looks good to me

  5. Would love to see a new 300 coming in 2027. Have had one since day 1. Love this car.

  6. the only hope chrysler has from what i can see is possibly is to rework the chrysler phaeton concept into some sort of working sedan. remember to rework the front fascia and shorten the length.
