2027 Polestar 4 Wagon.

The last thing most of us were expecting is a Polestar wagon, but here we are. Polestar is working on a wagon version of the Polestar 4 EV sedan, and it looks almost ready to go. It is expected to be unveiled before the end of the year, suggesting development is already at a very advanced stage.

You can tell from the official image that they are getting ready to launch this new body style for the Polestar 4. The roofline appears slightly extended, and the rear proportions hint at a more practical cargo area while maintaining the sleek, performance-oriented stance the brand is known for. This could be a very clever move, as wagons continue to enjoy strong popularity in Europe and are slowly gaining renewed interest in other markets.

They also finally launched the 5 sedan a few months ago, with deliveries starting in the summer. Although no one seems to be talking about it, the Polestar 5 represents a major technological step forward for the brand, riding on a dedicated aluminum platform and offering impressive performance figures. It may not grab headlines like some flashier EV startups, but it could quietly become one of the most important models in the lineup.

You can also see plans for a second generation of the Polestar 2, scheduled for early 2027. A Polestar 7 SUV is being planned about a year later. It will be a brand-new compact SUV, likely aimed at a broader audience and positioned as a more accessible entry point into the brand.

Volvo has also recently mentioned the possibility of a new wagon. It could very well be based on the same platform as the new Polestar 4 wagon, but with its own distinctive Volvo design language and emphasis on comfort and safety. That would make perfect sense, considering the long heritage Volvo has with wagons and the strong overlap between the two brands’ engineering resources.

A second-generation Polestar 2 is a no-brainer, especially with over 190,000 units of the first generation already sold. That kind of success provides a solid foundation to refine the formula, improve efficiency, extend range, and introduce updated technology. Overall, the coming years look surprisingly busy, and potentially very exciting for Polestar.
