2027 Genesis GV90 Leaks. Inside and Out.

As predicted, the all-new 2027 Genesis GV90 EV SUV stays very close to the original design from the 2024 Genesis Neolun Concept. (2nd image). We don’t know anything yet but the range is rumored to be around 310 miles, which isn’t great. And might not good enough against its main competition. Like the Cadillac Escalade IQ with 460 miles. Or the Lucid Gravity with up to 450 miles.

Looking almost exactly like the concept gives the Genesis GV90 design a bit of personality. Which is refreshing.

As you can see from the images above, new giant Genesis EV  is rumored to be offered with a choice of 2 different models. The most expensive version will be offed with what manufactures now call “Coach doors”. Or good old “suicide doors” for the rest of us.

The GV90 is expected to ride on Hyundai’s next-generation EV platform. Which is reportedly more advanced and efficient than the current architecture used in models like the Hyundai Ioniq 9.

As for the interior, the whole thing seems disappointingly tacky. The usual “expensive looking” quilted seats are here. they look as cheesy as a cheap aftermarket seat cover. And the dashboard is not even as nice as the new Hyundai Palisade. For probably a lot more. And, while I really like colors in car interiors, these are just again, plain tacky. And not really up to the luxury level of the competition.

The GV90 will not be cheap. Its main competitor in the U.S., the Cadillac Escalade IQ, starts at over $130,000, and Genesis is unlikely to undercut it significantly if it wants to position the GV90 as a true flagship.
