2019 Ram 1500 Pick Up

Well, that actually doesn’t look as bad as I thought it would.
Most of the personality of the previous versions is still gone. At least in that luxury super chromy version. (The off road Rebel one with the black grille looks a bit more like the current model)
Otherwise, things are pretty conservative here. Making the new Silverado look almost futuristic.
Besides the obvious color combo differences, it looks like at least 2 different screen sizes are available.
The rotary shifter also looks great. And seems like the best of both worlds. It frees the whole center console without having that super old fashion column shifter.
The new interior seems very modern. Much more so than the exterior.
A 3.6 Liter V6 and 5.7Liter V8 are available. And mild hybrid versions of both are options. (Adding more torque to both engines)
As well as a new V6 diesel.
All come with an 8 speed automatic.
Which one do you think looks better, Vince — the new Ram or Silverado, inside and out?
I have a relative who just got rid of a current gen RAM truck because it was an unreliable hunk of junk. I sincerely hope this new gen version fares much better. FCA desperately needs to resolve its quality issues.
From what I see on these pictures, I do like the interior of the Ram. that big screen is pretty cool. But the exterior design of the Silverado is more appealing to me.
The new Silverado is so much more handsome than this. I wish they didn't change the bold grill in front. These trucks were known for that. It was easily recognized on the road, not so much anymore.
I actually don't mind the simpler exterior of the RAM — it's handsome. The massive touchscreen makes the interior look better than the Silverado's; without it, there is nothing special about it.
